About the Publication
Currently, the regional housing culture is declining. Through my experience in the housing industry, I have noticed that many local builders in Japan are facing challenges, including a lack of successors and difficulties in streamlining operations. These issues make it hard for them to maintain business continuity.
While products from major housing manufacturers are high-quality, they tend to be too expensive for the general public. Thus, I believe that local builders will remain essential in providing housing for the Japanese people.
To enhance the management of local builders and improve the working methods and productivity of those involved in housing construction, I aimed to establish a collective of the region’s top builders who share a common vision. This initiative seeks to foster collaboration and promote a new approach to housing construction in the local area. This aspiration inspired the publication of this book.

Yuichi Ikeda: Born in 1967 in Obihiro City, Hokkaido. A first-class architect. After working at a private design office, he joined a major housing manufacturer. After being involved in many housing projects as a design manager, he became a founding member of LOGOS HOME, serving as Representative Director from 2006 to 2021. He is currently the President and Representative Director of LOGOS HOLDINGS INC., which oversees LOGOS HOME INC., HOEI CONSTRUCTION INC., GALLERY HOUSE INC., ROOT LINK INC., and Logos Creative Office Philippines. Inc. LOGOS HOME has exceeded 100 annual construction starts within just seven years of its founding and has continued to grow steadily. The latest fiscal period saw the group surpass 1,000 houses. The company was newly listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Growth Market in June 2024.
